November 17th, we have four openings available for a half-day paddling excursion in Sparkleberry Swamp. We’ll meet at Pack’s Landing at 9:00 AM and will return to the landing by 3:00 PM. Make sure to bring your lunch, snacks, plenty of water, and any other items you might need to spend a few hours on the water!
Sparkleberry Swamp is located in the upper Lake Marion area and is a part of the Upper Santee Swamp system. Sparkleberry shares the characteristics of cypress-tupelo swamps commonly found in this area of the Carolinas along with a unique abundance of Sparkleberry trees for which the area is named. The high waters and charming scenery draw avid paddlers and explorers to this location!
If you’re in need of a kayak or any other equipment (paddles, PFDs, etc.) please contact our team at Naturally Outdoors to inquire about daily rentals.
